Hi, I’m Hannah. I’m a comprehensively certified STOTT PILATES® instructor of 14 years and assisted stretch therapist, specializing in back pain and post-rehabilitation.
As a formally trained dancer, my interest in therapeutic exercise began after suffering chronic back pain due to poor movement mechanics. This led me to begin studying the Pilates method at age 16, and later owning my own rehabilitative Pilates studio in Austin, TX for six years.
Throughout my career, I’ve discovered that healing is layered and is not limited to the physical body. Because of this I have sought mentorship from distinguished leaders in several fields including Physical Therapy, Rolfing, Human Design, German New Medicine, and assisted PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) modalities. These diverse influences are integral to my holistic approach, and allow me to incorporate self-awareness as a vital tool for healing.
My goal is to help you release areas of restriction, realign the body for optimal function, and reinforce proper alignment and movement patterns so that you can experience vitality and wellbeing. Whether recovering from an injury, managing stress, or pursuing athletic goals, I am committed to your progress.
